How do I get short hair without cutting it?

I have long thick hair and i want it short but i don't want to cut it. I need help or advice on this? What works for you?How do I get short hair without cutting it?

It depends on your layers and how long your hair is. If you have hair down past your collar bones, and layers about chin length, and if you know a bit about hair you could pull the bottom layers back and bobby pin them in the back underneath your chin length layer. You would need thick hair to do this. I'm sorry it's very hard to explain but I hope you get what I mean
Wear a wig. Or.... put your hair in a tight ponytail then bend your neck forward so all your hair falls forward. Put a little hat or baret on top to hold it in place, pull some of your hair down to fake a short layered look. Your hair has to be long enough to sweep down alittle. I've tried that before and loved the look.
Well you can always put it up in a high ponytail or something!


Or get a headband [the kind that is an elastic circle] and tuck the bottom of your hair into the bottom of it! (:

Try some updoos: messy bun, looped pony tail, or get layers: makes your hair look shorter while keeping your length
pin it like a bob, or curl it.





or just cut it.
the only way to make your hair short is if you cut it, it's not rocket science
