How do I add more volume to short hair?

I just got a cute chin-length bob on Sunday and it's a lot straighter and softer but the problem is it's still flat.

So how can I give my new hairstyle some volume? How do I add more volume to short hair?
You need to get some volumizer. Lift you hair at the roots and spray. Then dry and tease. How do I add more volume to short hair?
Hi, I'm Mal the Editor-in-Chief of online fashion magazine, www.LaVieCherie.com. Here are my best suggestions from (mostly) personal experience.

1) Refrain from washing it everyday. A little natural oil buildup can help add volume and makes styling easier.

2) Get a root pump spray or powder and apply to the roots. Spray requires your hair to bet wet/damp and you'll have to use a hair dryer and blow it in the direction you want volume. Root powder can go on dry hair. It's hard to apply yourself, so you may want to ask your girlfriends to help you out. Once its applied to the crown, you kind of use your fingers and work the volume and shape in.

3) Blow dry your hair upside down and use a volumizing mousse beforehand.

4) Tease/Backcomb your dry hair at the crown and set with hairspray. Use a tail/fine-tooth comb for best results. Warning, this can cause damage and breakage, so be gentle and refrain from doing it daily.

5) Place a barrette in your hair for a half-up/half-down style. You'll be surprised how much volume you can achieve with the way you position the clip. Use bobby pins as well to ';puff up'; the hair.

6) BUMP-IT, a new product creates that teased look by placing a plastic lift under your hair. I have not used one of these myself, but it seems like it could be a good idea if you have thick enough hair to disguise it.

Good luck!

Tease the under layer a bit near the roots to add some teasing, not too much or you;ll look silly. Also try volumizing shampoo's and conditioners.
Use Volumizing Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner.

Try a volumizing mousse on the roots (towel dried hair)

Or use abit of pomade on your hair roots.

There are also conditioning rinses, leave-in volumizing lotions, styling spritzes %26amp; mousses.

Hope this helps
you can buy thicking shampoo :)
