Does short hair look good on tall people ?

I'm kind of tall, 5'6, and skinny and wanted to here what you guys think. My hair is like medium length, at my chest, and thinking about cutting it almost pixie like, but not sure if it will look good because i'm so tall.Does short hair look good on tall people ?
Luisa you are tall and short hair can suit you but take a good hair cut... i mean try to go for a hair cut that may give you glamorous look...like Halle Berry had super-short pixie haircut in 2009 award function.. this hair cut will go with your face and body.Does short hair look good on tall people ?
