I'm not sure if you are asking for a way to style your present short haircut or ideas for a new short haircut. I can't really answer the first possible question without knowing the present style. Bangs half the length of the forehead could be an ivy league, crew cut, forward brush or a short taper cut. It just depends on the style and length of the hair on top. Does it graduate in length shorter to the back of the crown and how much shorter or is the rest of the top hair longer than the bangs. A crazy punk like spiky hair style would be a longish classic version of a flat top crew cut. Many of the original punks wore this style and would dye it an outrageous color. This was at a time when most rock musicians wore long feathered styles. I don't suggest dying your hair a crazy color except with a dye that washes out readily, but a classic flat top crew cut is rare enough these days that it is seen as pretty crazy by other kids but crazy in a good way by adults so a kid isn't going to get in trouble for wearing one. The way you phrased this question, it sounds like you had to cut your hair for school.

It takes a very skilled classic barber to cut the above styles. If you decide on something like this, be sure to take a photo to describe the style.

Comb the fringe, to the side and spike the rest... leave the back a little spiked, but not too much...





or you could take the mid-part of your hair and spike it, and leave the sides sort of flat...





Or you cold do the porcupine head-like style... maybe with a little colour on it...





Or a messy do... I mean sort-of blown out look... sides a little spiked, and fringe to the side to make it look longer...
