Are there any tips on styling short hair that im trying to grow out?

I've had short hair for a while and im trying to grow it long now however its sort of in that mid-stage where it does what it wants and is kind of boring.





Is it okay to get it styled while its growing out? Or will this just make the growing process longer?:)Are there any tips on styling short hair that im trying to grow out?
You should make it curly. Just play with it and you'll find something you like!!!!!!! Go out and buy some clippies and stuff like that. Short hair usually needs lots of volume so try to make it look a lil messy?? if you consider your hair boring.. style it. either way hair grows-- you might as well look good in the process.
